Girl Gang Manchester are an all female collective who host creative events, promote creativity, collaboration, confidence and positivity. Their aim is to help inspire & support women to succeed in life work and society. After a number of successful events, they are due to host an immersive screening of 90's film classic 'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion' on Saturday 19th May. This is part on the Lowry's 'Week 53 Festival', which this year explores the theme 'coming of age.'
Using decor, performers, workshops, speakers, participation, party bags, dressing up and dancing Girl Gang will create a fun, meaningful and accessible event which encourages creativity, collaboration, confidence and community. And to go along with the 90's theme I'll be there on the night running a scrunchie making workshop! The perfect craft project for those new to sewing and quick & easy way to create a unique accessory .
Other activities on the night include a best pals dance workshop, an ideas generation workshop, a photobooth, garment customisation station, speaches and more! Come on down, make friends and get involved. You can find full event details and tickets over on their Facebook event > Girl Gang Mcr #3: Romy & Michele's High School Reunion
See you there!
